Alec Schweitzer, aka ’SHWHY’ is a photographer and cinematographer based in Los Angeles, CA. After growing up in New York City, he received his BFA ‘15 from the Penny Stamps School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan.

Since graduating, he has worked closely with a wide range of artists such as Logic, Charlie Puth, YG, QuinnXCII, Dizzy Wright, Skizzy Mars, Chelsea Cutler, Borgore, Brockhampton, Teddy, Damian Lemar Hudson, Masego, Solange and many more.

His clients are mostly entertainment-based and from time to time shoots advertising. His work has been circulated through Rolling Stone, ESPN, Netflix, Complex, Genius, XXL Magazine, Pandora, HotNewHipHop, The Fader, PDN, DJ Booth and Snapchat Discovery. He’s been commissioned to shoot for multiple high profile musician’s tours, Atlantic Records, Def Jam and Sony Music along with brands such as Coca Cola, Radical Media, HSBC, Hyundai, FILA, Tretorn, Elle & Eve Cosmetics, Zico, Master & Dynamic, Illy Coffee, Corzo Tequila and Sticky’s Chicken Fingers among others.
